Remote not working. Please help!!

First of all let me express my heartfelt thanks for this wonderful app !!!

I installed pvr-350 drivers including the ir.exe driver on XP. I have added gbpvr to startup menu so it starts up automatically on power on. I can see the IR icon also. I pressed some button on the remote (dont recall which one) and another window popped forward (MVP server process window) so I know the remote works. I have also used the remote and the IR cable on another linux installation. So no hardware probs.

What can I do to get remote support ? Please help me I am so close to getting an ideal pvr box in my living room. Thanks !!!

If you look in irremote.ini, does it contain the section for GB-PVR? It can be overwritten if you reinstall the Hauppauge drivers.

Alternatively, you could enable the 'use direct access to hauppauge remote' option, and kill ir.exe.

I ran the config utility again and it seemed to have fixed the problem. Thanks.

BTW how can you watch a show that is currently being recorded ? Also the fast forward and rewind don't seem to do anything while watching live tv.

The current method is to simply go into your recordings and start watching the video that is being recorded. This is on Sub's TODO list.

This is on Sub's TODO list. Search the forum for more information on this (Search button is in the top right area, hard to see becuse of the colours used),
