PVRX2 Crashes

When I open PVRX2 I instantly get an error that says:
PVRX2 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If I move the window over and just keep on using the program it works fine. The only problem is that the picture quality is terrible compared to the ATI Catalyst Program but the Catalyst program wouldn't even record shows properly. I have a ATI TV Wonder 650 and right now I am just running it with analog cable. I went through and made sure I had all of the settings to what I think is right and I made sure that I installed the prerequisite programs. I am running Windows XP 64bit.

It looks like you've set the remote type to USB-UIRT but dont have a USB-UIRTattached to your machine. Set it back to default or Hauppauge.

The "USB-UIRT" is a specific device, not a generic term used for any USB connected IR Receiver.

Thanks so much I remember doing that now and thinking to myself that I need to remember just in case it wasn't right. So the remote support is only for the Hauppauge cards and a few other remotes correct?

Correct, but lots of other remotes can be used with thirdparty software like HIP etc.

Thanks I will look into that. I was searching the forums and I couldn't find much but have other people had issues with the picture quality and the ATI 650 cards? or can I make some adjustments to fix the quality? The picture was amazing with ATI Catalyst but the program didn't seem to record shows if you had live TV going and so far GBPVR seems like a much better program for what I want to do.

I got everything working and had a chance to play around with the program and I really like it however I installed the Community Skin Plugin and now GBPVR will not open I am getting an error report just like before but nothing comes up at all and I can't open the configuration program either. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

It looks like you or the community skin plugin have managed to break the skin.xml file.

Maybe delete the config.xml file, and replace it with a copy of config-master.dont-edit-me.xml
