Troubleshooting the Lumanate Wave NTSC/ATSC Combo Device

I purchased this Dell device, and I am currently trying to get it to work. I can get it to work with snappysoft and snapstream (both trial versions), but I cannot get it to work with the gbpvr. I edited the device.ini file from the Lumanate site, and it shows up in the list and acts like everything is fine, but when I select Live TV, it flashes and nothing happens.
Would anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get this to show up?

edit--I am using the S-Video and RCA audio connections instead of the tuner.

Does this device have a hardware MPEG2 encoder?

Can you run filtercheck.exe and attach the filtercheck.log file?

Have you added an entry to direct.ini? If so, what did you add?
