I've got the HD PVR installed and using the Hauppauge software can see the recording coming from the set top box.

However, in GBPVR whenever I try to use the device in live preview it goes to a blank screen for a few seconds and then returns to the main menu. For the life of me I can not figure out what I am doing wrong or have configured wrong.

Please can someone help.

I'm using GBPVR 1.3.7 and the latest HD PVR drivers from the hauppauge website.

Here are my logs.

Can you record and playback that recording?

No. I captured the video in the Hauppaug software and moved it into my media library and tried to play it from there with no luck.
Do I not have the m2ts decoders.

So I can record a channel from the HD PVR and it appears to work. I can even play the recording in vlc just fine.
When I try to play the recording in GBPVR I get noting but a blank screen. Any help?

What h264 and aac decoders do you have selected on the playback tab?

Does the HD PVR not come with a decoder that can be used or must I have either WinDVD or PowerDVD installed.

The TME app that comes with the HD-PVR installs the ArcSoft decoders.
