I am trying to write a script to hibernate my PVR after a recording. If I setup a test recording in the next 10 mins and run recstatus.exe I get this error:

C:\scripts>RecStatus.exe time=30
couldn't do select * from PROGRAMME where oid= because -3100[Microsoft][ODBC Mic
rosoft Access Driver] Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'oid='
.10

I get the same error if I supply the path to gbpvr (I am using the default location) and if I run it without a show scheduled it produces a sane output.

Any ideas?

I think I can help figure out the problem. Is the program that is scheduled to start in 10 minutes a Manual Recording? It seems that what is happening is that RecStatus is attemtpting to find descriptive info for the recording (show title, description, etc), but cannot because that program is not in the EPG database. Please confirm.

In the meantime, I'm about to release an updated version with several enhancements - better handling of Manual Recordings will be included.

Ahhhhh
Yes you are right. It is not a prog in the EPG but a test manual recording that I set up to test my script. OK I will test later when I get back from Reading (planned out with she who will be obeyed Wink )

OK checked this and you are right. If its a recording that is in the EPG then it works. Manual recording feature would be nice though as its bound to crop up. Never mind though thanks for producing this utility

Thanks for following up - I've corrected the handling of Manual Recordings and added several other significant enhancements.

Look for an updated release of RecStatus in the next few days. Smile
