No video playback with HD content

I am having trouble getting video to play back with recorded content. Files are just .ts streams, recorded with default settings in 1.3.11. Live TV is usually fine (although once in awhile i'll switch to a channel and get no video, i'll have to switch to another channel and switch back and it usually works.) I've tried Cyberlink PowerDVD8 and PowerCinema5, as well as the video decoder included with Nero 7, and can't get HD recordings to play back with video. I get audio, but the screen is just black. SD recordings play just fine.

I think it could be your audio decoder causing problems. Its failing to use the 'CyberLink Audio Decoder (PDVD8)' audio decoder you have selected, and falling back to a Nero audio decoder, which is known to have problems.

Thanks, Sub. Any suggestions or recommendations as to what I should try instead? I had PowerDVD 8 installed initially, but was having issues with that so I installed PowerCinema 5 and Nero 7. My guess is that the problem lies with the PowerDVD 8 decoders...but i'm not really sure which other applications to try.

Would the ATI mux work even if I have an Intel video chip?

The mux just combines the audio & vide together - doesn't have anyhting to do with your video card (so you can use the ATI or cyberlink with any vid card brand)

(this is of course if you have the ATI mux installed)
