Sometime ago, I reported on my attempt to run GBPVR under 64-bit Windows 7 beta. Since then, I have been evaluating the 32-bit version and installing the same applications. GBPVR appears to work with no problems. I am also using the PCH A-100 as a media extender, so I can vouch for mvpmcx2 as well. The difficulties I had with the HDHomerun tuner under the 64-bit version didn't happen with the 32-bit version.

I've had the opportunity to test for MS both versions and have stuck with the 32bit version so far. I see all the new computers are pushing 64bit and it's going to get worse. But, for all my trials with both Vista and W7, 64bit just isn't there yet with few programs to take advantage of it. If I were to want to use a 64bit system, I'd have stuck with XP.
I'm sure you read the HDHR forums but there are people successfully using the HDHR and W7 64 bit......just don't know why it's hit or miss.

Actually, I had no problems running the HDHR applications under W7. It's when I tried to use it with GBPVR that I had problems. I never pursued the cause, but I suspect it had something to do with W7 using the 64-bit drivers and GBPVR needing the 32-bit drivers.
