New PCH Firmware

Not sure if people caught this or not....there was a new PCH firmware release the other day....just a maintenance release.

Release Date:02 April 2009
Firmware Version:01-17-090201-15-POP-402-000

Release Note:
1. No NMT apps, still previous 00-17-090115-15-POP-402
2. Some critical patches on 00-17-090125-15-POP-402/td>
3. Fixed Video_ts playback over SAMBA, with whitespace in share name, will crash.
4. Turkish codepage fix.
5. Remove "Audio */*: ***" message at start of video playback (e.g. TS).
6. PNG read failure cause crash.
7. Fixed ISO with single subtitle track cannot be display.
8. Internet Radio link added in Web Services.
9. MP3 volume soft after ISO/IFO playback workaround.
10. Workaround DirecTV UPnP crash issue.
11. Image cache issue fixed.

Wierd - I signed up for emails when a new release is out, but didn't get anything this time...

btw, firmware updates are not working properly...i had to get it from rapidshare...
it starts download but never finishes even on main pc...[i only got 3 meg before it quit last time]
and it seems others are having same probs...

I've had that problem with the last few releases. I think their servers are just being hammered. Victims of their own success, I guess. Or maybe they just have crappy servers or internet connection.
