I have a couple of decoders that are on my server, but dont quite know how they were installed, is there a way to find our what program installed them or find the files so i can transfer them to the other computer,

The decoder in question are coreAVc and Archsoft (I think this was installed with my video card which is geforce)

thanks for the help

GraphStudio will let you do this. It won't know what program installed the filter, but it can tell you the path to each one.

try gspot, it will show you all registered codecs, and let you change merits and also un-register them as well...[effectively removing them from system]

it also shows the file path to the codecs so you can delete them after un-registering them...Smile
if you play a file with it, it will also show you which codecs windows will choose when playing that file..

after opening program, go to 'system' then 'list installed codecs and filters' and it will show you all codecs in a list...
