So, I've been using gbpvr for more than two years now with no major problems. I've recently changed my cable service to an entirely new company, with a different channel lineup, box, etc. I figured I'd use this time to upgrade gbpvr from 1.3.7 to 1.3.11 as well.

I use schedulesdirect for my EPG listings, and though it has run flawlessly with my previous service, with the new one I've had nothing but problems. It seems fine in the schedulesdirect report, but when I do an epg update, the channel order ends up all scrambled in the guide. It will count up to 21, jump from there to 76, and then more gaps all the way up. Those missing channels end up at the end of the guide as channel 2015 and such. I've tried changing lineups, reloading the epg, creating a new capture source and deleting the old one, reloading, reloading, etc.

And now the problem is still there, but I have "no show details" throughout the guide as well. I've totally run out of ideas, and I couldn't find a similar problem in the forums, so I figured I'd throw it up here for help. Any ideas?

Btw, I'm attaching all of my logs, should they prove helpful. Only the more recent ones will be in debug mode, but it should include a few reloads. Thanks!

The order shown in the TV Guide is determined by the channel numbers in the main Channels tab of the config app. Usually these numbers would be correct by themselves, but you can find some channels being allocated unexpected channel numbers when channel names get changed by the cable company etc.

Aye, I've just noticed that they appear to be in alphanumeric order. the correct channels will have "2 WCBS" as their name, while the incorrect ones will have "SCIENCE" as their name. So if I change them manually in the channels tab, will they stay that way through an epg update?

And I'm also wondering what I broke to get "no show details" everywhere, as I had that working before. (I've changed too many things to figure it out Wink)

Thank you for the blazing fast reply btw.

Ah, figured it out. For the future reference of anybody with the same problem, gbpvr still had the original channels from my previous service provider in it's database. After they were removed, everything worked flawlessly. Thanks Sub!
