I have a DVD of Peter Gabriel's Growing Up - Live. It plays fine on a normal DVD player but in GBPVR I can't navigate the menu. The menu video and audio play, but none of the options are highlighted and the up/down/play buttons don't do anything, neither does clicking the menu items with the mouse. The left/right buttons also don't navigate - they bring up a sort of green GBPVR icon at the top of the screen; only the Stop button works as expected.
If I rip the DVD to files on disk (DVDRipper or DVDShrink), or ISO and play via Daemontools it still doesn't work. If I just rip the main movie, that plays fine (as you'd expect - but of course there's no menu or need for one!).
Funny thing is, if I play it in MediaPlayer from DVD or ISO it plays just fine; the menu works and all options are selectable. I don't know how to play ripped DVD files in MP other than the individual VOBs, so I can't test that.
My config settings are DVD Navigator, ffdshow video decoder, VRM9 exclusive video renderer, ffdshow audio decoder, System Default audio renderer. Graphedit confirms these are the settings being used.
I've tried other video and audio decoder combinations (ffdshow, cyberlink PVD7 and 9, MPC) but without success. I tried the Cyberlink DVD Navigator too but that wouldn't play at all.
This is under Windows XP/SP3, but I've also tried it under Windows 7 with the same issue - it plays in MCE but doesn't play in GBPVR.
All my other DVDs (physical, ripped or ISO) play fine. Just this one doesn't.
I would appreciate any help or ideas on this problem, as it has me stumped.
Thanks.
