aspect error on old files with new 1.4.7 version

Can you see if this one fixes it?

Interesting. Obviously my packet information does not contain the mpeg sequence header. I wonder where it goes missing. The info is available as you saw when you played back my file. If I play using the ffdshow codec with the OSD, it will display the input and output aspect ratio values of 4/3, even though it displays the picture at full screen.

The last file fixed the aspect ratio problem. It plays properly now.

From what I can tell, this wasnt related to 1.4.7. This stuff hasnt been changed in years.

If it worked for you in the past, then the only explanation I've got is the 'MPEG-2 Demultiplexer' on your machine is now delivering much smaller packets than it has in the past. Maybe Windows Update caused a change coincidentally about the same time as you installed 1.4.7?

I do all my updates manually. I am about a month behind in doing that though. Microsoft does have a way of sneaking in unauthorized updates. That is the only thing I could think of that may have happened.

This might explain why my non GBPVR stuff is doing the same thing if it was a sneaky MS update (I have my Windows Update set to automatic).
