Recording volume to low from GBPVR

Can someone please help me to increase volume when recording with GBPVR. Volume when recording with WinTV2000 is ok but the recordings with GBPVR are way to low. Ive tried to search the forum for help but to no success

I noticed the channel switch was a LOT faster with the new version of GBPVR tx for the good work sub!

If you have WinTV2000 then you have a Hauppauge card so you might be able to use the Tweak Tool to accomplish tuning the volume level:

Now if only I had something like this for the LifeView Walker.

Sub is this type of tweak possible in the go.ini file for the Walker?

Is this doing so my recordings with WinTV2000 gets to loud or can u adjust the volume on WinTV2000 and GBPVR independently?

I cant see where to adjust recording level with the software

It shows settings that can be adjusted on a per card basis, as well as I believe just for the WinTV2K application. I don't have one of these cards, so I don't know what effect it'll have on the WinTV2000 application.

I dont thinks this is a gbvpr problem as there are no settings for volume in the config. Also I think gbpvr passes the process to directshow. Somehow.

What it may be is that the audio settings are set low for playback and its fooling you into thinking that the recording is low. If you have not fiddled with the tweek tool than I suspect that its the palyback volume thang.

Try playing back the file in WMP and see if its low. Look at your audio settings as well.

Yes i play the recordings with media player and the volume created by GBPVR is much lower that WinTV2000 recordings with the same volume settings. Somehow GBPVR recordings have very low volume and Hauppauges own software doesnt Tx for help anyway
