It would almost look like that with all the switchovers going in drips and drabs on different dates that whole band scanning may be the best way to go in future, slow as it is.

BTW, when I said the quite wonderful GBPVR I really meant that! It is normally brilliant! I editing the ini file and although the software now finds BBC1 and 2 in the scan there is still no picture. I will try a full scan tonight but in the past that causes my system to crash.

Is there a way to reset GBPVR to defaults and start again?

For scanning, deleting the cache files in devnz\gbpvr\BDA should start from scratch scanning-wise. If you seriously mean "start again" then copying empty.db3 over gbpvr.db3 will clear the database of all recordings, schedules, tuners and the like.

the scan all channels still crashes my system but i used that list from an earlier posting and it worked - cheers for that. What a complete pain - years in the planning and it was a complete balls up!

You know, the system should have had a frequency chart embedded into the broadcast signal so the boxes and cards etc just get told the frequenies without having to scan for channels- would have stopped all of this

ACTCMS Wrote:OK - you could try making a backup copy of your 0076.ini file in BDA\DVB-T and using notepad, change the original as follows:

1=C56,754166,0,0,8

changes to

1=C62,801834,0,0,8

then try rescanning Winter Hill.

This worked for BBC channels , but I also had to change line 5 to;

5=C60,754166,0,0,8

in order to pickup SKY3 and Dave etc.

Just thought I'd share this incase others are struggling.
