I have been looking through the forums but cannot seem to find specific directions for this configuration.

I currently use an index.htm on my A-110 so that I have links to YAMJ and GB-PVR for recorded TV and all the other stuff. My link to GB-PVR is currently:

Code:
http://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/SERVER:mvpmc/gbpvr.cgi

However, this link does not work if open GB-PVR, exit GB-PVR to get to YAMJ and then try again (I get the request cannot be processed error).

I used the CSI to install the GB-PVR web service and this method seems to work every time, but I can't seem to figure out how to create the link in the index.htm so that it loads the webservice instead of the network share.

I just want the link in index.htm to work everytime finding a way to start the webservice from the index.htm seemed like the most obvious to me, but if you have any suggestion on getting the network browse to work all the time that's great too.

Thx

I think it should be

Code:
http://localhost.drives:8883/HARD_DISK/Apps/mvpmcx2/gbpvr.cgi

Thanks Martin for the quick reply, but that link didn't work. When I browse from my pc to the PCH share, in the Apps/mvpmcx2 folder there is no GBPVR.cgi file. Do I need to create that file? If so, is there an example or a guide on creating that file?

Servers me right for thinking something is correct. I'll check later, it probably is index.cgi with a ? parameter. You can check the actual values that CSI installed in the Web Services if you'd like.

Ha Ha

Martin, I think you give me too much credit. How would I check what the CSI installed? Installing, following directions and getting things to generally work is what I do best, but my eyes go all buggy when I start looking at code that I'm not familliar with (NMT is fairly new to me).

Thx

You would check the settings on the Web Service screen, and highlight the Add/Edit button on the top left and finally select mvpmcx2 and hit Enter.

Or you can use the following, which I would never have guessed.

Code:
http://localhost:9999/mvpmcx2_gaya

That was it. I acan now access GB-PVR everytime.

I actually tried that once, but I missed the underscore - I had to scroll to the right in the address box, and when that box is highlighted (at least on my screen) the underscore gets hidden by the border around the field. I knew when I saw it that it didn't make sense, but I tried it anyway and of course it didn't work so I stopped trying that avenue.

Thanks for help Martin.
