Hello
I am a longtime GBPVR and Media MVP User. I have three Media MVPs in my home hooking up to one central GBPVR server.

I have been looking at devices which can leverage the Playon TV service for Hulu and Netflix support. In doing so I came across the Popcorn players as pretty much teh only option which might support both GBPVR and playon . ( I don;t wnat toahve to have double sets of these network devices at each TV location...)

I am curious how seamless it is to be able to flip back and forth bewteen the GBPVR front-end application and the regular inteferface that supports the upnp playon service? ( something my wife could do via the remote?)

I am also curious if a house network with mixed Media MVPs and Popcorn unnits could coexist easily

many thanks for all your time and expertise!!!

PlayOn isn't much use to me in Canada so I can't say too much about it, but I've read it doesn't work with the current 200 series of NMT's. Maybe another GBPVR user can help you ou.

Mixing MVP's and NMT's isn't a problem, and exiting back to the NMT menu takes seconds. To go from UPnP to GBPVR on my setup is three remote key hits Source-Source-5

Thanks for the input.

It sounds like the PCH ( a-110 version at least) might indeed be a suitable path to get me from MediaMVP type usage to also something that can access realtime internet streaming sources which seem to be more and more plentiful.

I will keep an eye out on e-bay for an a-110 to try out.

thanks for your time!
