Cannot play anything through GBPVR

Hi this is my first thread and bear with me as I am very frustrated at the moment.:mad:

I have had a Popcorn Hour A110 for about a year now. Apart from a few times when it hangs and has to be powercycled, it performs pretty well.

I had GB-PVR setup on it for ages and working fine until recently.

Now, when I try to select a TV channel or recording I just get a blank screen with no sound and have to press Stop to get back to the main screen.

GB-PVR works perfectly on my PC and, as I can get the main interface running, I don't suppose there is anything wrong with my shares (I can browse to them and play .ts files recorded with GB-PVR with no problem.

Please can someone point me in the right direction to diagnose and fix this!

Could you change the mux from Full TS to TS Mon?

OK thanks, I am at work at the moment so I will have to do it when I get home in about 5 hours.

I assume you meant change to TS Mux but that didn't make any difference, still blank screen with no sound.

I'm not sure if it is normal but whem I run GB-PVR on my PC, the Recording Status says:

Live TV (Channel Name)

but when i run it on the Popcorn it says:

Live TV (Programme Name_somenumbers_somemorenumers.ts) and writes the .ts file to my temp directory.

Any other suggestions?

Here's a fresh set of logs.

Another thing I noticed was that if I try to play a recording, I get a brief summary of the programme appear at the bottom of the screen, no picture or sound and then it goes back to the menu...

2010-01-05 22:44:54.316    ERROR    [4]    Error starting webserver: Could not load file or assembly 'GBPVRRecordingService, Version=1.0.3529.34129, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

You probably just need to go into the Recording Service and tell it to interact with the desktop.

Martin, you nailed it!

The Recording Service was set to interatct with the desktop but I unchecked that, restarted the service then checked it again and restarted again.

Afte that it worked as if nothing had ever been wrong!
