I was curious what software people use for ripping their music to MP3's? What is thought to have the best sound quality (itunes, windows media player, winamp, etc? Do you guys use sound leveling and if so what software to do that? Using GBPVR as a jukebox on our Home Theater System makes me appreciate more and more the idea of sound leveling so that all music plays at a fairly common sound level.

In the past I was a fan of Music Match until they go to release 10. Release 10 is just to bloated and buggy. I hate having a windows error every time I go to shut down. SO I installed Music Match 9 or even 8.
AMD Athlon XP 2500+, Asus A7V8X-X, 1 gb Ram, 7600 GT, Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250 & Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150, 1.5 Terabyte Seagate HD, XP Pro

If you look for dbpoweramp version 10.1 or earlier it doesn't stop working after the evaluation period of one month. http://www.dbpoweramp.com/bin/dMC-r10.exe

for ripping I always use Exact Audio Copy (eac) http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/

for making sure the tags are correct I use eags on! available from http://eagson.webcindario.com/
