Hi
I have been running GBPVR for about 2 years (v1.1.5). Everything was going great until there was the digital switchover earlier this year (I live in South Wales UK). Now whenever I access BBC1 it shows SKY news. I have tried remapping but it just seems to revert as soon as I come out of the configuration console and update the EPG. I seem to be overwhelmed by the technicality of this product - I'm well out of my depth and don't even know how I got it working in the first place!!!!J
Even when I go into Tuning Assistant and select my card (Hauppage PVR350) it seems to default to Argentina - when I try and select any Hauppage card therein it says "failed to find crossbar filter"
Thanks in hopefull anticipation

Mark

Just checked in device manager and apparently it's a Hauppauge Nova-DT Dual DVB-T tuner

The quickest fix will be to delete your capture sources and start agaain ...

Copy gbpvr.db3 as a backup.
Start Config and press the Export Recordings button (I forget which tab it's on), and delete capture sources and then close Config.
Edit config.xml and change this ...

<BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>60</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>

It is probably 15, you should get more accurate mapping with 60.
Start Config, re-add capture sources and re-map channels.
Press the Import Recording button.

The export and import recordings bit is about preserving season recordings not about any existing recording files.

Good Luck

Thanks for your reply Graham. Have followed your advice to the letter but still getting the same problem. Thought it would be a matter of just remapping but whenever I go into this section of the config there doesn't seem to be a way of physically mapping - just a list of channels and an image of the channel that you double click on in the table on the left hand side !

Has you transmitter gone thro' digital switchover?

The frequencies being broadcast change at switchover ...

http://www.ukfree.tv/txlist.php

This should generate a new .ini file with the post-switchover frequencies ...

http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...highlight=

If all else falis, set your capture sources to All Countries All Regions.

The entire transmitter group has now switched over (Wenvoe). All of my TVs have been retuned since the switch and all are performing correctly.
Have followed the ".ini" file instructions to no avail. Have also tried the last option too - and I still am at the exact same place ! Interestingly most channels have "(no show details)" and the only ones that are listed are some Channels 4 and iTV ones.
I have Hauppauge Win TV32 installed and this is fully functional !!

The spreadsheet that I posted is wrong because the Digital Gods are messing about ...

http://www.ukfree.tv/txdetail.php?a=ST110742

says ...

Quote:NOTE: SDN at Wenvoe is expected to operate temporarily on channel 51 (at 10kW ERP), and Arqiva A to temporarily operate on channel 30 (at 10kW ERP), until 2011

and these channel/frequency changes were decided after I did the sheet.

However, All Countries/All Regions scans every frequency used for all transmitters everywhere. If it ain't finding stuff, it is most likely a reception issue ... TV tuners for computers seem to be less sensitive than real televisions.

Try temporarily removing all splitters and connectors on the aerial coax and see if that works.

Good Luck
