Playing the recording in another player gives the same stutters. And this time, I didn't have audio.
The EPG was switched again to kHz .

If you have more than 4MB of RAM try reducing it to 4MB in msconfig.

Well, that did the trick so far :-). LiveTV works on both PC and PCH. Only, when I record a program, the recording has no sound.
PS: is there a setting so that LiveTV is immediately at full display resolution on the PCH? Now I got the hit the zoom button everytime. Thanks for all the effort till so far!

Heezy Wrote:Only, when I record a program, the recording has no sound. This is most likely related to the audio decoder you're using.

I played around with the audio decoders, but it gave no change.
Then I recorded two channels at the same time. The first recording gave no audio like already said, but the second one had audio. The audio decoder was set at system default again.

The video decoder and audio decoder should not be set to system default. The audio renderer should be set to system default.

If you think a recording has no audio, the first thing you should try is playing that recording in an external player like VLC to confirm if you get audio there.

The PCH uses the zoom defaults of fit, full or crop set up by the NMT software. If audio is working on your PCH but not PC it is definitely the decoders.
