As I understand it, what you're saying is that StartGBPVRX2 seems to cause such a spike in CPU usage that it halts network throughput, which then causes video playback and file copying to pause for a couple of seconds. If that's so, then there's something wrong as I've never experienced this, and no-one else has reported this as a problem.
Is CPU usage at the core of the problem? StartGBPVRX2 does nothing on the network - any file access is purely local, and then only to write to the startpvrx2.ini when a setting is changed.
