iMon VFD and Remote

Hi, is there any guide to using an iMon VFD and Remote package?
I see there is an iMon VFD plugin, but it's the remote that I've never really made use of. I vaguely recall it may be a matter of setting up a whole lot of key mappings and using a 3rd-party plugin, but hazy on the details now.

Also I'm currently on 1.4.7, but will solution(s) for 1.4.7 also work for NPVR?

I can tell for sure, that it is possible to use the iMON remote control with the original iMON Software and nPVR. Just add a profile to the software and bind the different keystrokes to the remotecontrol. I show you my .imo (configuration file) for the iMON Software for PVRX2. It's not absolutely perfect, but covers nearly all functions within nearly every function of PVRX2. You can change this for sure to nPVR, because most (all?) keys are identical to PVRX2.

Errr... just one question, when I took a brief look at that file it looked like there was a lot of chinese characters in it - do I need to change that, or was I not viewing the file correctly?

Your welcome. No, there aren't any chinese characters, the file is just compressed by iMON Manager.

Just import the extracted PVRX2.imo into the iMON Manager Software like the following screenshot:



That should do the trick.
