Ok, I'll see what I can do.

I know Hairy with the Wave skin has gone for the opposite, having all the drives together in a single background that merges with the "System status" box too, but I'll try to think of something that can accommodate both styles.

I did consider a list control at the start, but wasn't sure how much custom rendering I'd be able to do, and didn't really want to have to scroll down if there were more drives than space either.

Morning & the old brain is working a bit better now Don't worry about the text as I think I will just make a skin-4x3.xml for we poor people that can't afford a widescreen TV & it displays a max of eight drives, then I will make a skin-16x9.xml & a skin-16x10.xml for the more well off with a WS telly that will display ten drives max, so that will overcome that problem.

Although it would be nice to be able to display them in box's as that suits my background picture display best & only have them display for the number of drives configured........again as a non programming person could you use a visible=@Drv1 etc. for this?

I haven't had a chance to look yet, but I'm sure there'll be some way of doing it.

Can we get a list of tuners and their current actions.... basically just like the Tray app but inside the plugin... I'd find it very useful..... I'm often having to exit NPVR just to see when tuners are doing what ... Inside the plugin would be great....

Yep, I have plans to do something like that. It already gives you the number of active tuners, so it's really just an extension of that. The information is available - I just need to decide how to display it.

All the requests up until have been reasonable, so I will add the silly one.

What I would like is to be able to manually override the total disk size. My videos and system files are all on one disc, and would like to work out what percentage is left based on what is usable on the drive. Therefore, even with windows etc sitting on the drive, if I had no recordings it would show 100%. I suppose it would need to be implemented via config like the drive type setting (not know anything about it at all, of course).

I'm not dismissing this (yet), but if I understand correctly, you want to be able to monitor how much space is available for recordings, even though the drive contains a whole bunch of other stuff too? If so, my first question would have to be, why don't you just partition it and keep a separate partition just for recordings. Surely that would be easier and also more robust, as even with your suggestion the amount of space used by non-recordings (especially Windows) *is* going to change day-by-day so the manually provided figure you give the plugin would soon be wrong.

I'm also going to post some details on the next version a little later on today, to try and get feedback on the direction it's going, mainly with regards to "tuner status" functionality.
