Recording problem

For some reason lately a lot of the shows I record will record about 15 minutes of the show and then cut off. 1 hour long shows will have about 17 minutes recorded. Anybody have any idea why this would be happening?

by the way, also, does your recording drive have free space? gb-pvr won't even notice if you run out of space, much less complain. it will just keep on doing it's thing, creating truncated recording files.

I actually already figured out that may have been the problem, cause it was very close to being out of space. And yeah it seemed to me that would probably be what would happen if it did run out of space. I will post back again, if this happens again with plenty of free space.

glad that was it... believe me the first time I let my drive fill up I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out what the heck was going on. It didn't even occur to me to check space, as I figured there would at least be a warning in the log or something about being out of space.... nope, GB-PVR is absolutely oblivious to the entire situation. So is NPVR so far I think.
