Finally getting somewhere now.
After finding out that i needed the bda drivers (1.2.1.9 installed)
doing
regsvr32.exe MPGMUX.AX
regsvr32.exe CLDUMP.AX

I seem to be getting somewhere. I now do the EPG mapping part and it brings up the screen to start searching for channels but I get an error

GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly, and not already in use.

Any help please? I know its not in use and the drivers are BDA for my Twinhan satellite card.

1.2.1.9 was released after the last release of GB-PVR. In this, TwinHan renamed a couple of components. The next version of GB-PVR accomodates this change.

To get it going with the current release, you could try editing the bda.ini file, and setting the TwinHan DVB-T section to the following

[Twinhan DVB-T]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=TwinHan DVBT BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=TwinHan DVBT BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

Sorry, just noticed you said satellite. In this case, update the Twnhan DVB-S section with:

[Twinhan DVB-S]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=TwinHan DVBS BDA Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=TwinHan DVBS BDA Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

Ahh right I know what ive done
I selected the UK versions of the BDA drivers and not the generic Twinhan.inf driver. So now its detected in GBPVR and its trying to do a channel scan.

At the moment its scanning hotbird and astra satellite so it looks like it "might" be working now Big Grin Ill report back in a little bit tonight when its done the channel scan

I get the same "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly, and not already in use." every time I try to do the Channel Mapping. I have used the MuxChecker and found I have Cyberlink Muxer v5.0.0727 Anyone have any advice on what to try now?

This is usually a sign you dont have BDA drivers installed. Post you config.exe-native.log file.
