I don´t know the problem, had it run on XP system, so i'm rather sure, that alle settings are correct (anything else than the one option in misc2 tab?). I have added the port in the windows fire wall, i even tried switching of the firewall. No idea, what else i could do!
Please help, thx in adv!

Thx for the fast answers. I will provide the logs later.
I am trying to connect from nowhere else than localhost!
I have changed the port to 88, so i tried those adresses:
localhost:88
localhost:88/gbpvr
127.0.0.1:88/gbpvr

Don't tell me i have to append the guide2.aspx ??

Nope, "http://localhost:88/gbpvr" should bring up guide.aspx but to get the new style screen, you would append "/guide2.aspx". Make sure that you use the "http://" before the address. Other than that, we'll need to see logs.

http is appended automatically, that was not the problem. But indeed, i should have read better the documentation wiki: I had to check in the service setting that it is allowed to interact with the desktop. Then a restart and it worked.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks for this Smile
Just found it and I didn't test that on the service at first.
But I know I read it though, just forgot about it lol

PS. Sorry about bumping on old post, but I had to thank 'Ijaja' for reminding me :p
