imilne,

One more request...

I would like to be able to use the channel name using @channel (like in recordings.xml) in the listview when a program is recording.

something like this:

<Text text="@channel" location="3.5,18" size="8,64" font="BlackMicro" align="Center" valign="Center" wrap="true"/>

Definetly, not anything urgent.

Thanks.

But very easy to add. It'll be in the version I post later today.

I've now uploaded the new version. The plugin has also moved to the new wiki and can be found here from now on: http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Plugin.System

Changes in this version:

* Skin files can now use @channel for the channel name shown in the list of recordings
* Changed the order that objects are rendered in, to allow for background images behind the button list
* Experimental: Added a button to restart the recording service (disabled by default)

I monitor disks on 4 machines over my network - it would be very useful to me if I could over-ride the volume name of the disk with a 'friendly name' so instead of "O: newdisk" I could see "O: ServerA Recordings"

Not essential so only if you find yourself with a few hours to kill - as if... Big Grin

I enabled it and it worked fine for me, but it might be an idea to move the View button back to the top of the button list...

The light was already on, since I read that post at the time... :p

I should have said that it might be an idea to add the new button somewhere in the middle of the list during the upgrade... Big Grin

I'll add it to the list of things to do, but it'll probably be a while before it happens. I had a quick check (on Windows 7) with renaming mapped drives, and although you can do this in Explorer, it isn't picked up by whatever API I used in the code. Shame, as that would have solved the problem easily.

Mods, if you're reading... could this thread be moved into the plugins sub-forum? It's not really a community announcement any more and that's probably a more suitable place for it now. Oh, and rename it to just "System Plugin" too if that's possible. Thanks.

I was thinking of something fairly simple like adding a Description field to the Disk edit dialog in settings. If the user fills it in, it superceeds the disk label, otherwise the disk label is displayed.
