Well, it seems you're right. Both my systems (Windows 7 and XP) are showing the problem. I wonder what's changed, because it wasn't my code - that part hasn't been changed in ages, honest gov'. And if you take those lines out and paste them into a simple exe they work as expected.

The only other thing I can think of is that the current plugin won't have been compiled against the DLLs from the latest version of NPVR but that shouldn't matter for this functionality (should it?). Failing that, I'll mess around with rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState calls and see if I can make them work instead.

Weird.

I am fairly sure I saw this behavior in v1.5.31 but not before then. Could it be something in the routine to check for iminent recordings? If there is one all is OK. If not then NPVR crashes - maybe NPVR is no longer returning the answer you were expecting. (Works for Hibernate though!)
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

I have gone back to 1.5.31 (Insurmountable Audio problem - till Sub gets back) and can confirm this problem is here as well

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I've not had a chance to investigate it yet, but I'll try to find some time before the weekend.

This problem should be fixed now.

- The Sleep option will cause S3 sleep
- The Hibernate option (if hibernation is enabled in Windows) will cause S4 hibernation
- The Hibernate option (if hibernation is disabled in Windows) will cause S3 sleep

The bug was only related to the first option.

imilne Wrote:For running scripts, you could just use the custom tasks option that sub added in the latest build. There's not much point in me duplicating that functionality. Actually, if you needed a restart, you could do it this way too, with a simple batch file that killed the npvr process then opened it again.

Where is there a place on any menu to run batch scripts?

Working perfect in 1.5.31 - i'm sure 33 will be as well

You can go and relax now - untill Sub changes something!!!
