System Plugin for nPVR - Early Beta

I've seen some other people have had issues with the hibernate/sleep functions, but as far as I know I'm the first to report an issue with shutdown.

I'm running Windows XP nPVR 2.03 with System 0.10.12.24. The restart button works perfectly and the computer reboots, but if I select the shutdown option it just does its pop-up asking if I really want to shut down, and I select 'Ok' and it just never does anything. No error messages, no crashes or anything like that; it just goes back to the nPVR gui and pretends like nothing ever happened and is fully functional. It just strikes me as rather odd that restart works and shutdown doesn't. Seems to me like they should either both fail, or both work.

Let me know if you need any further information. Great plug-in apart from the 'fake' shutdown button.

You have no idea how annoying it is testing shutdown functionality without access to a virtual machine

It looks good thank you. Is there a way I can change its position in the main menu order? Right now, it's between TV Recordings and Search, which ain't too intuitive...

Use notepad to change the order of the <MenuItem> entries in the <MenuLayout> section in config.xml.

I've uploaded a new version to the wiki, that contains the following minor bug fix:

* Fixed a problem with drive letters not showing up correctly

I know one or two people have asked for the button list to be made a hidden menu like some of the other NPVR components, but I have decided against doing this (for now). The primary use of the plugin for me is to shutdown/restart the PC, so I want rapid access to these options. It's a "system" plugin, so I don't see the need to hide system related functionality.

Another day, another update:

* Added support for displaying tuners used for Live TV in the tuners list
* The active tuner count is now correct if clients are accessing Live TV
* Added a Reset button to the Rename Tuners tab to reset custom names back to their defaults
* The version label now displays "NextPVR" rather than "NPVR"
* Added an About tab to the Settings dialog

Can you make it so the plugin still works partially if the Recording Service has crashed? Primarily I'd like to still be able to access the Reboot function; last time I tried if the recording service is down it just gets a .net error and returns to the main menu.
