UK Freeview Ch 4 HD - Camelot Sound Problem

I recorded the series of Camelot for "She who must be Obeyed" (Nice British Kung Fu Series ) All have been fine until last nights final episode when at the last ad break they switched to stereo sound and then didn't switch back to 5.1 for the final part of the program - thus loosing all the dialog.

Anybody else notice this or is it all my fault again

Yes, no go with Freeview HD UK if audio format changes during broadcast. Back to Divx for now! [Have posted this under the LAV Audio Decoder topic]

Unfortunately this was with the DivX AAC Codec - all I can think is that Ch4 forgot to change the marker back to 5.1 after the ad break or it was corrupted somehow.

I found the same thing happened with Watchmen, Saturday evening on Ch 4HD, after an ad break I could only heard the background noises and very faint dialog. I'm using the Divx AAC codec also. I thought I'd broke something without doing anything! Had to watch it in SD on 4+1 in the end.

That's a bummer I recorded Watchmen to watch later this week it was on immediately after Camelot - looks like 4HD was having problems (exactly same symptoms)

The sound problem on Watchmen happened on the Sutton Coldfield transmitter as well.
