Hi,

I know it has been addressed in the past, but I really wanted to get a more up to date opinion:

What drivers should I be using with my shiny new Retail PVR 150 card (to match my well-working MVP)?

-Latest from Hauppauge website?
-or Latest from SHSPVR.com?
-or something else?

I just thought I would rely on the expertise of those that have better understanding than I.

I've always used shspvr's drivers. Never did get gbpvr working with the stock (or updated) Hauppauge ones.
You can never have enough tuners!

I used not the latest on shs, but one from there. I don't chase the newest, but the one that seems to review the best from fourm posters, and performs for me.

The thing to watch for is complaints from PAL and NTSC users. It seems haup is less attentive to PAL, so problems ppl have may or may not impact your use.

Copone,

Do you easily recall which version from SHSPVR has consensus support for being the best choice?

I never saw a consensus, but I use 2.0.30.23083. The release notes list htem as non-prelease 150/500 drivers. I don't know about comparitive sharpness, etc, but it fixed an issue I had w/ the card losing the remote. They have been working fine for a few months now.

FYI, I've been using the very latest pre-release drivers (June 8?) on SHSPVR without issue for the past few days. If I see any glitches I'll let you know...
