I have tried every editor there is for files output by comclean.
Nanopeg won't work. Womble mpeg-vcr won't save the file correctly, VideoReDo crashes, mpeg2cut only cuts on I frames...
I can demux and edit in Cuttermaran, but this add's a lot of time to the process, which I'm trying to avoid.
Other than the advanced editors, such as Vegas, does anyone have any suggestions for a simple cutter that works?

I personally hate TDA. Too limiting for an authoring package that costs what it does.
I'll see what comskip 0.66 does...still looking for reasonable solutions.

I use TDA for making DVDs from my GBPVR stuff. I love how it leaves the mpeg streams untouched. I wish you could enter frame numbers in it though. At least it shows you them. Plus it only cuts on I frames, but that isn't too much of a pain with most shows. It is a weird interface, but I am getting used to it. I wish it it was the same as VideoRedo plus the authoring features.

Seems comskip 0.66 does a much better job than 0.64 (with the same ini).
As I mention above, TDA is too limiting, and in some cases, will not accept certain types of encodes as dvd spec, even though they really are.
If you want dvd authoring power, get DVDLab Pro, or Scenearist.

I'm back to relying on my tried and true, PVAStrumento to demux, and Cuttermaran to edit.

Sorry again tipstir, Ulead stuff is playskool toys, compared to Dvdlab Pro. Smile
Even with blu-ray etc., I'm still going to be editing out commercials, and making custom switched motion menus for my dvd's.
