Cant get PVR-150 remote to work

Cant get PVR-150 remote to work fo GB-PVR. My remote worked fine until I installed gb-pvr, and clicked on the enable 45-butten remote button. Now my remote does nothing at all. I reinstalled the the PVR drivers and my remote started working for the winTV software again (until I reset). What I really want, though, is my remote to work for GB-PVR!

I have checked out the irremote.ini file, but I can't see anything that obvious there.

All you should have to do is click the "Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings (45 button)" button, then restart the Hauppauge ir.exe. There isnt really much that can go wrong. There is no other setting anywhere.

Post your irremote.ini after the GBPvr install. So we can take a look. A section of it might be getting wiped out.

When you installed GBPvr did you restart the remote software?

Something else you could do while your trying to figure it out is make a back up copy of your irremote.ini file. If your remote stops working just revert to the back up file.

It doesnt break it for WinTV for anyone else. It only adds an additional [GB-PVR] section.

thanks guys, with that info I rechecked the hardware (as that seems to be the only posibility). And found that is was a simple case of the plug not being in firm enough (dough!). It was just a red herring that before I installed gb-pvr it was working, and after it was not; so I thought it was gb-pvr, which of course it was not!
