Unable to locate Crossbar filter

...and it lost the tv tuner and audio filter as well (which were there before, though without any pins). I suspect this is a windows install that's broken somehow.

Yeah. I am having some windows issues. I may downgrade back to Windows 7 soon. I'll update this thread then.

While downgrading to Windows 7, I decided to flash my BIOS to the latest version and experienced a power outage during that process. So basically my BIOS chip is shot. This is turning into the quite the project...

Unfortunately I'm not really sure what to suggest for you on this one.

It looks like the device is reporting it's a PAL/SECAM tuner instead of an NTSC one, which might be a factor.

Even though it probably wont help - you shouldn't need to scan though. Analog users in North American would instead do a channel import from XMLTV or Schedules Direct, since I'm sure you'd want channel names and tv listings. You're likely to get the same problem when you attempt to start live tv or record though.

This is where having a common tuner like the Hauppauge ones is a big advantage. You know they work, and I have the same devices here, and they work well with the app. Sorry - I know that doesn't help.
