Error after removing capture source

Hi,

the new version is very great. Today I've spent 4 hours to configurate my system and gbpvr with all the plugins.
Very fine!

Now I've got a new xmltv-creator (tvmovie) and had to delete all the old channels in den capture source.
I tried to remove the complete capture source and made a new.

Now when I try to see live-TV I get the following error:
"Failed to communicate with the GB-PVR Recording Service..."

In the configuration tool, the capture source is still listet. After re-deleting it, it comes back.

Is there any way to repare this without a complete reinstallation ?

Hi,

I've asked to fast!

I could fix the problem:

- Open the gbpvr.mdb in access
- Remove the database entry of the old source
- Restarting the gbpvr-service

Now everything works fine!

You wouldn't have needed to remove anything from the database. By the look of the error message above, you didn't complete the setup of the new capture source. No harm done - at least you're up and running.

Hi Sub,

I'm so sorry, but I had nothing to loose:-)
I've restored the database backup and tried to recomplete the setup.
The channels and all the other parameters was set. Then I close the setup and reopened it to import the xmltv.
The error and the old source still exist.
