Cacelling Pending Reocordings??

I set up recordings to be recurring for all channels and all episodes. Some shows are shown multiple times during the week and I want them all to show up in the Pending Recording list.

After I get a good recording I then want to cancel all the next showings of that episode with out cancelling the Recurring Recording.

I cancel a Pending Recording and it no longer shows as a Pending Recording until after the next EPG Update. I then have to cancel them again.

Am I wrong in thinking I should be able to do this?

It does do this if the EPG has unique show identifiers (like Schedules Direct, or XMLTV with season/episode numbers).

I am currently getting my EPG as XMLTV from yourtv.com.au using WebGrab+ and there are no episode numbers.

I'll have to cancel them each day after the EPG Update at 5:00am.

I have looked at my XMLTV file and it has a Title and a Sub-title field.

Is there any way to interpret the Sub-title as a distinctive episode the same as an episode number?

If you want all potential recordings to show as pending and then all get deleted except the one that has been recorded. the unique id concept won't work for you anyway.
