Export program info

Hi Folks

First of all love nextpvr - been using mediaportal for a while but had problems with it losing my TV card. No such probs now!!

One thing I haven't worked out yet is that in MP, shows would record .ts file and also produce a xml file with the epg data.

Nextpvr has the data viewable in the program and I have found the file which stores all the info, but is there a way to export that data so I can match up the show, as the .ts file doesn't contain any metadata.
I usually take the recording, editing and renaming them, and having the info at hand either in metadata or info in the same named xml file as the recorded show really helps, otherwise I have to go into the program and try and work it out by the recording dates.

e.g.

Show 1.ts
Show 1.xml - containing epg data

Hope this makes sense??

setting in config.xml to true.

Plus, the data is stored as an alternate data stream within the .ts file. I expect that someone will be along soon to remind us of the command to access the ADS.

Didn't know about the ADS in the files - quickly found a utility to extract from previously recorded files; AlternateStreamView from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/alternate_d...reams.html

You can also just standard tools like notepad, or "copy" from batch files etc to access the ADS info. For example,

notepad.exe c:\some\path\mediafile.ts:metadata.xml

I rarely need this, but can never remember the format when I do need it ! I'm going to post it somewhere ("now where did I save that"?!)
