Probably a timing error with a slow RPi. I will make the stop option configurable next release. However assuming you have a guide button you want to use did you try modifying lircmap.xm to enable it <guide>KEY_EPG</guide>

Do you have a keyboard.xml if so add these to the end if not just save the file

Ok on your system it opens a different window edit 13001 to 13003 (two places). Hit guide in the main UI and playing media.

last time i just added to existing keymap which may not have worked correctly

Ah ok if you didn't have keyboard.xml before you have to add more markup around it.
