hi, glad you're back..
which problem did you want to look at first?
client is working great on old reader, tho both server and client still sometimes lockup randomly..[feels like sudden memory leak, even tho nothing's changed with old reader itself] maybe changes in it's 'environment'?
client with new reader only has probs with mpeg2 channels stuttering in livetv or in-progress..
really more important to me is the problem starting some channels on server, without having to change channels to get video going...
weird thing is, usually after getting channel going by changing channels, it usually works first try after that..[not always] as if some initialization isn't completing for mpeg2..
and changing channels only works if you let it 'settle' a few seconds to sync..if you go tooo fast, it won't help mpeg2 channel.
and skipping still seems like it doesn't know precisely where it is currently, as skips will sometimes go past end, or skip forward only gets you to where you were originally[it thought it was farther back than it was actually, so skip forward gets you to where you already are watching, not ahead]
i'm sure i'm forgetting something...lol
oh yea, the non-starting of streams on HDPVRs...
