4.0.4 Skips Hang Playback

Guess I'll "hop" on the skip bandwagon, I've had it stop (black screen) a few times on various shows, sometimes I see no issues at all, it's rather random, hasn't ever happened more than once in the same place on a show (except that weird fast forward I had with that one show, bizarre but wasn't a fault of NextPVR seemed to be a command in the stream). Today, was watching a show and it stopped, had to hit reverse skip (short) to get it to start back up. LAV up todate, everything is actually, using EVR, did try Dx9 once with it, the playback didn't like it at all (froze twice), the old reader also caused a freeze, so avoided those both.

I tried all the patches in this thread and still have the problem so I did a quick restore and recreated the original problem. please see attached files. Like some others it only happens with HD channels. SD works fine. Since posting this I experimented and recorded HD from different channels. Most worked ok with some very minor hang after skip. The worst was WPMI so I am attaching a new log.

Are you seeing these problems in Live TV, or Recordings, or both? Your most recent logs in there seem to show live tv, but I can't see any skip attempt.

Not live tv only recorded tv. I tried recording from multiple channels and WPMI was the worst.

Can you supply me a sample recording where I can see the problem?

I have been trying to compress a video file to send but cannot compress it small enough to attach. How long does the sample video need to be?
Also the problem only seems to be with the one channel named WPMI. The other recordings from other channels don't seem to be a problem which is confusing as to why.

Put it somewhere like dropbox or onedrive, and let me know the download link.

It'd need to be long enough for you to be able to see issues skipping in it. ie, 10 minutes or so.

I don't use One Drive at all and unfamiliar with its use but gave it a shot for this purpose. The idea of some stranger being able to access my stuff creeps me out. Thanks for any assistance you can give me. Like I said earlier it seems to be only happening with this one channel. The others work well.

It's telling me that item no longer exists.

Usually when you copy a file to the OneDrive directory on your machine, right click and select 'share a onedrive link'. This will copy a URL to your clipboard for accessing that file.
