4.0.4 Skips Hang Playback

Also I think I told you it wasn't doing it on live TV and that is incorrect. if I pause live TV on that same channel WPMI and then skip ahead, it too hangs for 1 to 3 seconds. Sometimes the screen goes black as well but comes back on eventually. The sound never stops only video.

Are you able to see the issue skipping around in that file? How much effort does it take you to reproduce the issue?

Not much effort at all. It is every program on that one channel (WPMI) that is effected in the same way starting with clicking on "Play" the screen is black for a second and then freezes after skips while sound continues. Most if not all other channels seem to work as expected/

So just playing that file, then do a single skip and the video freezes? I'm not definitely not seeing that. I'm skipping back and forward, and still have both audio and video.

Can you try replacing your NPVRTSReader4.ax with this one, and see if it makes any difference? This at least gets you to check with the same version I'm using.

I replaced that file and it is still doing the same thing.

LAV but I also tried ffdshow and the SAF6 all with the same results.

I am unable to try and use that program at this time but I do appreciate your efforts. I have attached my most recent logs after making the Paused TV skip and hang several times. Hopefully you will see something in the logs. Thanks again for all the help.

I recorded a game last night on the Channel that is giving me trouble and skipped past the commercials. I noticed that most of the time the video freezes for 1 to 3 seconds while the sound continues but occasionally it skips perfectly. Also it never crashes the program to where I have to exit out and restart it only freezes momentarily. Also I am not sure what you call it but the bar on the bottom that shows how many seconds you skipped forward also freezes. It also doesn't seem to be hardware related as I have 4 P.C's running this program and all of them with different hardware and all have the same problem with that same channel. I also recorded a game on another channel with no problems at all. As for installing that program you suggested I am willing to try it but couldn't last night as I had to be somewhere else. The only difficulty might be the difference in our time zones and coordinating a time to do it. in the meantime maybe this additional information helps.
