Is the number in the top left of the screen in brackets moving?

The number in the brackets is not moving, it's zero and stays zero... Could be there is no VBI-stream available?

Its definitely related to that, but I'm not sure why you're getting this problem.

What happens if you press "pause" to switch to timeshift mode then try again?

Nope; no results.

I wonder though, is this line maybe the clue:

"FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: WST-codec"

don't know what this codec does, but...

It can be called one of two things, either 'WST-codec' or 'WST codec'. GB-PVR checks for both. Its normal that one will fail.

still, VBI is connected, but teletext is not. Strange...
