Kodi not playing channel on first attempt

I'll keep it going a bit longer.. but so far it's been 1hr 10 mins and no data back from the server yet... this is with the full 70000+ channels
I'd only waited till 20 mins last time to see if it would start sending data, but didn't realise it would take quite a lot longer.

It is definitely doing something though...

I left it over 2.5hrs and still nothing

So have cancelled and have included the logs

I'll remove all of the IPTV channels excluding a much smaller filtered list via xteve and run this again

Also I guess you didn't change the config.xml which is fine.

Can you try again? I want to see one of these scenarios were it eventually returns some data. I want to see what it's doing between those two points.

As Martin said, don't bother waiting more than a minute. Stop and try another channel or something.

With all 70000+ iptv channels added, all terrestrial channels from the HDHomeRun are the same... they don't return data for ages (over 2.5 hours as shown above).
The IPTV channels start ok, just not the terrestrial ones.

I guessing you mean, never returns any data? ie, if you don't get anything in the first couple of minutes, I'm pretty sure you're never getting anything. It's not going to start magically delivering data 2 hours in.

Did this one take a long time too? ie, there is a 20 second delay in there I wouldn't expect to see:

I've got the 2 .txt files from the CURL output.
Both started returning data after about 20 seconds
I left it as Martin Suggested 30 seconds of data capture (once it started returning data), but the .txt files are coming out around 80mb and still 40mb after zipping.

I ran it again (with the reverse priority set to false) and cancelled after about 4 seconds (of data being received) and it was small enough to attach in here.
