I can't see anything obviously wrong in there. Are you playing from a slow or network drive maybe?

Maybe supply a sample recording and I’ll try it here. Maybe something unusual in your streams.
Put it somewhere like onedrive or Dropbox and let me know the download url.

Cheers. It’ll be tomorrow before I take a look now.

I did take a quick look. The file played through nicely here in nextpvr.exe, so I'm not really sure what to suggest. How was the CPU usage on your machine when you were trying to play it?

Can you restart NextPVR, play the same recording your supplied me, and post your logs again? Also give me a brief description of what you see.
Your last logs all seem to be live tv attempts.

The issue only seems to be with the client. Watching live TV or playing a recording look the same with a frame every ? seconds and then nothing for a random time. If I go to the localhost:8866 in a browser and play or watch in there that works a treat as does playing the recording in VLC. After the clean install this morning I tried both live TV and playing a recording, logs attached. Thank you for your help, I really hope we can get to the bottom of it. I'm not really sure what the problem might be. There is no obvious sign of problems in your logs.
I could take a look at some lower level logs. Try creating a c:\temp directory, and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR\LogDemux=1 (DWORD) in the regsitry, then start NextPVR, and try to watch the 20 seconds or so of a recording, then post the logs, and the c:\temp\demux.txt Make sure to delete this registry setting afterwards, because it will cause issues of its own if left there. |
