FM analog device

Hi all

I have installed an AVER TV hybrid card and only the digital tuner is working fine. Since I would really like to use the fm tuner also, I try to make it work with no luck.

I followed all the instructions but after installing softpvr I don't have an analogdevices.xml file in the data folder.

I created one by myself and entered the required data from the filtercheck but I am not sure this is the right procedure

so of course my analog device is not listed in the devices list

I use npvr v5 in win10. Can this be done somehow or I am wasting my time?

Any help would be much appreciated

Analog FM and TV using SoftPVR won't work with v5 you must have been following v4 instructions.

I guess it depends how much you love FM and decide not to use Internet radio alternatives. I think some people just want FM because they have a device that has it.

If you want FM in V5 I have started a development thread on how to get it working and it does work ok for me https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=60883 but still waiting for others to help finish the testing.

not really
the main reason is that the fm sound is much better and the second reason is that not all stations provide their streaming url so they force you to listen to them through their site. But I prefer to use Kodi so they are all gathered in the radio section.

Feel free to try the steps in the other thread to get v5 working.  I for one have stopped supporting v4.

Also note internet radio IPTV streams configured for radio will show up in the Radio section of Kodi with FM stations.
