Here I am after a reboot. Here is a link to some proof it works under WMC with that tuner.

Sorry, I don't really know what to tell you - there are no errors in the logs, but it doesn't look like the device is locking onto a signal:

Well that’s too bad. I guess I’ll have to keep using plex live tv for that tuner.

For completion sake, I repurchased a WinTV licence and that too works with my Tuner. Looks like something in the NextPVR app in case there’s interest to see what’s up. Thanks again.

FYI, I also developed WinTV for Hauppauge, so I know exactly what it's doing. You shouldn't be seeing any significant difference in scan results in NextPVR.

Strange you're seeing problems, yet we've had no other reports of issues. Does it make any difference if the WinTV-dualHD is disconnected while scanning?

Well that's really strange then if it works on WinTV and not NextPVR. I disconnected the WinTV-DualHD and it made no difference. One thing I notice from the WinTV application is that the BDA tuner can also do analog scans. I don't know if that means anything but I figured I just through it out there.

Never mind look like could have a HVR 850/855/950 or 955
Check the drivers it be at lease 6.0.119.36075 that the last know set.
If nothing else I would uninstall all Hauppauge software and the driver grab copy of HCWClear off the support and run it to and download WinTV 10 this has all latest driver run don't worry install WinTV

Yes it’s the 850. I did one better and wiped my windows 10 and reinstalled everything. Same issue. The Tuner is old so perhaps that’s something to do with the incompatibilities.
