hmmm ... maybe.
but my os IS us/english.

Does your Teletext work via GBPVR on the PC directly?
For me nothing happens if i press CTRL-R. Is this normal?

yes it did, and worked good. quick response etc. But now i've messed with the registry settings it doesn't work anymore. so i'm curious if it works after complete reinstall...

oh by the way, the hauppauge remote red button, and ctrl-r do work for me.

maybe we don't have exactly the same problem?

ok, i've tested it again.

If i start a GBPVR-window and go to LiveTV-Mode, then, as soon as i press CTRL-R, the video-picture freezes and after a few seconds the GBPVR-process disappears. (->"crash"?)

Also, in the logs there is a different unloadable codec mentioned, "WST-Codec".

I've attached the Logfile.

Its not related to the MVP, but please note that teletext will not work in live preview mode unless the deinterlacing is set to 'encoder pass through'. This is because the Hauppauge Drivers do not produce any VBI information unless the MPEG2 encoder is used.

The reason I mention this is because bolacha's log above seems to be using live preview mode without having the 'encoder pass through' setting.

ok, i'm back.

1) Reinstalled the pc with us/eng WinXP Pro SP2
2) installed audio driver
3) installed hauppauge drivers from shspvr.com (latest cdrom release)
4) installed new GB-PVR 0.94.13
5) configured GB-PVR

still same problem, teletext works on the PVR server with GP-PVR, but not on the mediamvp, the number next to 100 is zero all the time.

log:

11:18:59.296 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: GB-PVR WST SRT Analog

Same thing with 0.94.13, except it seems to find the "WST Codec".

I also tried graphedit, but i can't find most of the filters in the "DirectShow Filters"-Category.
F. e. i don't have a "WST Codec", but a "WST Decoder".
And there are no entries for "default" and "Encoder pass-through", as mentioned in the log, but i think that is normal?

Could the problem lie in the naming-difference for the WST-Codec?

That warning is normal if you're using 'encoder pass-through' and isnt the source of your problem.
