HDPVR2 ir blaster Setup?

Is that BlastCfg.exe of just Blast.exe?  You might need to install WinTV8 not WinTV85

Have you set up Schedules Direct or an XMLTV EPG source?  If you follow the wiki https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/setup-set-top-box that would be the first step.

Then you need to decide if the batch file uses the full channel or digits also as shown on the wiki.  Your batch file needs to iuse those parameter for blasting.

It is definitionally BlastCfg.exe, I have installed WinTV8, WinTV85, and even WinTV7 of the original CD that came with it nothing I do will give me this irremote.dll.  I have no idea how you get this file, I have install pretty much ever piece if software I can find from Hauppauge with no luck.

Thank You, that was where the file was.  However I could not get it to work because it kept saying it could not send the command.  So unless I am doing something wrong it appears that the blaster hooked to the HDPVR2 can only sent the 3 digit channel numbers and nothing else.

If I am wrong please tell me how it can be done, I spent the whole day trying to make it work and got nowhere.

The wiki link I gave you shows how to send digits or the whole number, your batch file needs to determine how to use the parameters.

This would issue a command for each digit on Windows.

Sorry for the misunderstanding what I was asking is can you send other commands specifically the power command?

Sorry I thought thought you wanted a way to send channel digits so I showed how to parse the parameters.

lirc has a lot of configuration needed to map the remote to codes/buttons and you will need to customize that yourself first. Unless you have discrete power on putting that in the tuning script might toggle off your source

Are there any guides for how to make WinLIRC work with the Hauppauge Blaster, I tried all day yesterday and I could not figure it out. I do have an on and a off button.
