I have now donated and enabled the feature  Thanks for pointing that out.

Annoyingly my other apps don't like the encoding of the XML file

It's just a standard xmltv file.

If your app gives any log messages or clues about it what it doesn't like, let us know and I'll see if it can be tweaked to accommodate.

xml: encoding "ISO-8859-1" declared but Decoder.CharsetReader is nil

That sounds like a bug in that app, but you could see if this updated NShared.dll fixes it. I've removed the header indicating ISO-8859-1 encoding.

Im running in docker, where would this go?

Sorry, not so easy to test new dlls etc with Docker.

From memory it's in /app in the container?

Had a look in the app data folder but I can't see any dll files. possibly getting a bit too advanced for me, Ive learned a bit about docker/unraid over the last year.

You need to open a bash shell into your Docker and copy it from there.
