Lots of channels no TV and No EPG (Freesat over SAT>IP)

I noticed that Empty EPG didn't appear to work or at least didn't update the text underneath the button stating the inserted, updated and skipped counts.

As expected quite a few channels have no listings but the main ones I'm interested in appear to be working well. For now, is it the case that the only way to clear out the encrypted channels to manually delete them?

For OpenTV here are the ones that I see in the clear in there list https://pastebin.com/WQKanWYG it is a superset of Freesat but it looks like the difference will be on radio stations. That is how the missing OpenTV issue first got noticed.

I think a lot of those channels are not OpenTV channels (like the BBC ones), but maybe it's the case that Sky transmit OpenTV EPG data for them, if that's what their set top boxes require.

The 'empty epg' button doesn't actually clear that text. It probably should. I'll add that for the next release. It would have emptied the EPG though.

When you originally scanned the channels in, did it tell you at that time which channels were encrypted? It's a little hazy in my memory, but I'm pretty sure local tuners (non-SAT>IP tuners) tell you this (at least with Windows), and these channels are unticked by default, so when you click Save, you only get that set of usable channels. I can't really remember, but I might not have got SAT>IP to that same functionality.

If you want to try a couple more builds, we can see if we can get those OpenTV channels, like Channel 4, to give you listings.

You know, now that you mention it I think I clicked the top checkbox by accident and then clicked it a second time to put it back to where it was previously - or so I thought. I'm now thinking this probably checked all the channels including ones that previously were unchecked. I will do a clear down, rescan and build it again shortly and report back.

Yes, these changes will be included in the next release.

It is possible to copy the updated NShared.dll into your docker container if you want to get that working before the next release though.

Did it have many listings, or just a couple? ie, might have just been the now/next listings. These are carried as EIT data ('DVB EPG' in NextPVR)

That was a full Freesat guide, we don't get the now/next mux. It goes up to the 28th in the sample.
